FF1: Fatherhood Family-Focused, Interconnected, Resilient, and Essential (FIRE)

Description: In partnership with the Navajo Nation Department of Corrections, this program prepares incarcerated fathers to be active in their families and communities. The program emphasizes father-child engagement, family relationship improvement, and economic stability.

DFVS: Developing Future Victim Specialists

Funding Source: U.S. Department of Justice, Office for Victims of Crime
Project Years: 10/01/2023 – 09/30/2026
Description: This internship program recruits students pursuing degrees in Social Work or Human Services to train as victim specialists. The program supports victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in rural Navajo Nation areas, integrating western and traditional Navajo healing practices.

DFC: Drug-Free Communities Support Program

Description: This community-based initiative addresses youth and family substance abuse in the Navajo Nation. The program raises awareness of opioid misuse, vaping, alcohol abuse, and methamphetamine addiction.

RCORP: Rural Communities Opioid Response Program

TWV: Together With Veterans – Rural Veteran Suicide Prevention Program

LSV: Legal Services for Homeless Veterans and Veterans At-Risk for Homelessness

NPS: 21st Century Conservation Service Corps Program

Description: This workforce development program provides training and employment opportunities for Native American youth in trades such as construction and welding, while preserving national parks.

LET’S GO Taxi

Description: A State-certified 24-hour taxi service serving the Four Corners area. Originally founded to raise awareness of DWI prevention, Let’s Go Taxi remains committed to providing safe transportation.
